Insulin is Life was created for Diabetes Awareness Month (November), inspired by my own daughter, who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just six years old.
Now twelve, she faces every day with courage and grace — a reminder of how powerful something so small can be.

This meaningful Diabetes Awareness T-shirt features the phrase “Insulin is Life” stitched using free-motion thread art — a technique where the artwork is drawn with thread, not digitised or printed.

Every line is guided by hand, creating natural texture, expressive movement, and a truly one-of-a-kind finish.

Each piece is stitched slowly and intentionally in my Cardiff studio onto a heavyweight oversized tee with:
