Custom Thread Art, Your Way

Choose one of the Lucky Threads illustrations, or send in your own line-art design.

I can turn drawings, animals, names and meaningful symbols into stitched, one-of-a-kind thread art.

Each piece is created using free-motion embroidery, meaning I literally draw with the needle. The result is a

textured, sketch-style finish that makes every design completely unique.

All custom pieces are made to order and usually take up to 3 weeks from payment to dispatch. Often quicker.

Every stitch is done by hand in my UK studio. Slow fashion, created with intention.

FAQ

Can you stitch any artwork?

Your design must be simple line art. I can’t stitch detailed photos or shaded images, but clean outlines work beautifully.

Can you turn a photo into line art for me?

Yes! I can convert your photo into clean line art for an additional fee.

What file types do you accept?

.ai, .pdf, .eps, .png, .jpg, .psd — the clearer the image, the better the stitched result.

How long does a custom order take?

Custom pieces usually take up to 3 weeks from payment to dispatch.

What garments can I order custom thread art on?

Sweatshirts, hoodies, and T-shirts in both adult and kids sizing. (Currently hoodies are only in kids sizing)

Can I choose thread colours?

Yes — any colour you like. I can also help you choose if you’re unsure.

Will I get a mock-up before stitching?

Yes for custom work, I’ll send a digital mock-up for approval before stitching begins.

Can I send my own original artwork?

Absolutely — as long as you own the rights to the design.

Can I submit my artwork for you to sell, and earn a cut?

Yes — I love working with illustrators! If you create line-art designs and want them featured as part of the Lucky Threads collection, you can send your artwork in for review.
If your design is accepted, I’ll list it in the Artist Collab section, and you’ll earn a set revenue for every piece sold. Payments are usually made monthly.
You keep full ownership of your artwork — I simply receive permission to stitch and sell it as part of our collaboration (see the Artist Collab page for full details).
