Custom Thread Art — Made Just for You

A custom thread art sweatshirt lets you turn your own drawing, handwriting, symbol or idea into wearable art. Each design is stitched using free-motion embroidery, where I literally draw with thread on the sewing machine. Every design is hand-made, slightly imperfect, and completely unique. Got an idea, drawing, or concept you want turned into wearable art?

You can choose one of my existing illustrations, or send me your own idea — from animals and symbols to handwritten names or original drawings.

Each design is created slowly and individually, not mass-produced.

🧵 Artwork Requirements

Your design must be simple line art.
I can’t work from detailed photos or complex shaded images.

Accepted file types:

Vector (preferred):

  • .ai (Adobe Illustrator)

  • .pdf (vector-based)

  • .eps

Raster:

  • .psd (Photoshop)

  • .png

  • .jpeg

Size:
Please make sure your artwork is created or scanned at around A4 size.

When ordering, please send:

  • Your artwork file

  • Garment type (T-shirt or sweatshirt)

  • Size

  • Colour

  • Thread colour preference

  • Placement (chest, sleeve, back, etc.)

  • Any extra notes or inspiration

⏳ Turnaround Time

Custom thread art is made to order and usually takes up to 3 weeks from payment to dispatch.

Each piece is stitched by me in my Cardiff studio — slow fashion, made with intention and attitude.
